I just got this from a high school class mate and thought you all, especially JLA and my other Texas friends, might enjoy it as much as I did.

Nice!!!
Much appreciated Todd. We do indeed have some truly awesome country side round these parts. TX is a good state to travel. Start in El Paso and drive east for a full day and see every kind of terrain in existence from mountains to flat grasslands to huge lakes to winding rivers and the best part is youll still be in TX at the end of the day.
Im American by birth, Texan by the grace of God.

JLA you may remember the old Texas state road maps used to have a cartoon of a family driving in maybe a Model T and the caption read "The sun has riz, The sun has set, And here we is, In Texas yet."
For those that don't know, the Pacific Ocean is closer to El Paso than the Louisiana border. The Atlantic Ocean is closer to the east Texas border than El Paso is. The Canadian border is closer to the north Texas border than the tip of south Texas. Texas is a BIG state.

That was awesome. I think I saw impressions of my foot steps approaching a couple of those deer.
Charles, you know youre harder to get ahold of than a wet noodle. Gimme a buzz..
Spectacular! I especially liked the sunset photos and the cowboy dumping the bucket of water! Beautiful state!
