Which one do you use? Which model?
Would you get the same kind now?
Which one would you recommend?
Why?

I have the little Chrony. It works reasonably well. Bought it because I was too lazy to build another myself. First commercial chronograph I've used since the house sized ones we had at White Sands.
It is a little sensitive to bright sunlight and really dislikes getting smoke blown in its face from the BP smokepoles, but gives generally good results and is easy to use.

I have a "Shooting Chrony Alpha" and I am very pleased with it-they make several models that go up in price with fancy add ons etc. but mine is sufficient for my needs and is accurate to .5%. The thing is very easy to set up and to use-it has one minor flaw though-it doesn't work if you don't turn it on!!!:D :D :D

The thing folds up into a small box and is easy to transport-so far it has worked well in all light conditions-again assuming the bullet goes OVER the screens!!;) ;)

I would not hesitate to recommend one of these to you-and the price seemed reasonable to me.

Best regards:
