This big dumb kid got married 44 years ago yesterday right in the middle of quail season. WHAT WAS HE THINKING? Oh right, we know what he was thinking. He has learned his lesson, he'll never get married in bird season again!;)

Congratulations to you both on your 44th; did she ever take up quail hunting so you both could enjoy being together on your anniversarys?

She never got into bird hunting, however she has mentioned on occasion that she could use a handgun?

I tell folks I've been married for 25 happy years!

25 out of 44 ain't bad.:p :confused:

The way I've been breaking myself lately, I doubt if we will make it another 44 years.

Congrats to you and your wife wundudnee! Marriages are lucky to last 5 years these days. I hope mine will keep me around as long as yours has
