Wanted to check the zero on my Remington 722, in .244 with a Weaver V8 Scope with Weaver Adjustable mounts and check the Ruger mini 14 Target. The Remington had not been shot in 20 years. At a hundred yards it put a 2" 3 shot group 2 touching at 6" high 2" left with Federal 80grn 15 year old ammo. WOW. Adjusted the Impact to 1 1/4 inch high. Switched over to Hornady 95 gr SST ammo 4" high, 4" Horizontal spread, wind came up, readjusted scope 3 shot 3" group.. at 1 1/4" High. Happy gun.
The Mni 14 Target did not like the Feocchi 40 gr 5" group 2 inches high, Switched to some Big Dog 55 gr group went to 3" 2" high Happy gun
Sorry Did not have the Camera and son did not pull the targets.
Shot a the Gem County Rod & Gun Club, Emmit Idaho.
Son was shooting a 1917 WW1 German Mauser Gewehr 98 8mm. From a Shooting Bench using the sling and no gun rest He was holding 6" groups
He is a fine Marksman.
