CNN had a brief line about a special court in Philadelphia just to prosecute gun related crimes. Anyone else hear about this, and is it actually going after the bad guys, or "those crazy gun lovers"?

Here in Virginia, we started something called Project Exile back in the mid 1990's. NRA pushed it across the country.

Liberals hate it because it works.

If you are a felon and are found to be in posession of a firearm, you get 5 years in Federal Prison, with minimum of 80% time served before they're eligible for parole. The conviction rate for EXILE crimes runs nearly 90%.

Conviction of an Exile crime is a Class A Felony, so the 3 strikes rule applies.

Ths time is on top of and seperate to anything else they may have been arrested for.

Only one Judge will be handling all cases.
268 murders in Philly last year.
That's the reason for this "Special Court".
