Reply | Edit | Del All Walther PPK
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I need an idea of value for insurance.
Walther PPK
.32 auto
On the left side it has:
Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella-Mehlis (Thur)
Walther’s Patent Cal. 7.65 m/m
Mod. PPK
It also has a mark that looks like a circle with a notch at the bottom with " RZ " in the center.
SN 822XXX
It has 2 mags one with a finger extension the other flat.
The holster is brown leather with a flap and a mag pocket.
Its has holster wear finish is about 80-85% brown plastic grip right side has a crack from the screw extending up about
1 1\4”.
Thanks for any help.

SOG is selling them for about $280.00 right now so that would be a good place to start.

The "RZ" is actually an "RZM" and indicates it was an early PPK.
If your PPK has Nazi proofmarks, it might be worth a bit more.

Thanks—the markings link is interesting. Mine has the “crown over N” on the barrel and right below on the slide.
Thanks,

Checking the 'net....the price would seem to be in the $200-280 range.
However, as an early, pre-war, German-made PPK, I'll bet the value will go up in the future.
