hmmm...I had to consider taking my hand of the <CTRL-F4> key and realized that it doesn't apply.

I'm an old UNIX sysadmin. A GUI (graphical user interface) is also known as a WIMP interface: Windows, Icons, Mice and Pointers. I am inherently more geared towards using the keyboard to operate. As a result, I get kind of grumpy when GUI designers act like idiots and make me take my hand off the keyboard to grab the mouse to do something. Feh.
