Let me start out by saying Hello to everyone on these boards. I've been registered for some time and thought I'd start asking questions. An unfired Marlin 880 with laminate stock and heavy target barrel has caught my interest. I was wondering what I should expect to pay for one and when did the Marlin 880's and 882's stop production?

Hi Grifter......welcome to TFF! :)
The Models 880/881 were made from 1989 to 1997. The Models 882/883, from 1989 to 2003.
The Blue Book doesn't list any Models 880/881/882/883 that have both a laminate stock and a heavy barrel.
The Model 880SQ (Squirrel Rifle) has a heavy barrel but a synthetic stock.
The Model 882L has a laminated stock, but no heavy barrel.
Let's try to nail this down. Is this gun blue or Stainless Steel? Does it have a tube feed or 7-shot detachable magazine? Is it .22 Magnum or .22 LR?

Thanks for the information. The rifle appears to be a Marlin 880SQ .22LR, clip fed. The synthetic stock has been replaced with a laminate stock. Both stocks are included in the sale.

OK Grifter, now that we've got it nailed down, the Blue Book values it at:
100% - $245
98% - $190
95% - $135
The extra stock is worth something, but I don't know how much.....
Good luck & have fun shooting it! :)
