Sorry for being such a forum "hog", but we just inherited all of these firearms. This one is a Walther PPK/S in a presentation case with three magazines. It has never been fired and has all of the original package contents from when purchased. Receipt says it was purchased for $135 in 1980. Would like to know more about it and what its value would be.

Markings: Left side
Line 1: Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do. Made in
Line 2: Walther banner logo, PPK/S Cal. 9mm kurz W. Germany
Markings: Right side
Line 1: INTERARMS
Line 2: ALEXANDRIA VIRGINIA
Serial # 233052

All markings are gold inlay

Presentation box is original Walther. Dark blue in color with "Walther" banner logo on top.

Original black grips and set of very nice wood grips.

Gun is new, beautiful and new condition. has been in safe deposit box since purchase.

Thank you.

In studying the Blue Book, I'd say you have a West German Model PPK/S .380 in 100% condition (obviously). Discontinued in 1999. Book says $750 but given new-unfired, cased, extra grips and mags, I sure would not sell it for that ... except to me!;) Very nice.

PS: I have a PPK/S and a PP. My PPK/S is US manuf.

It's beautiful and I'm interested. I'm doing my own research on its value, but please let me know what price you're looking for.

The letters are filled with gold paint. It is not inlay.

He used real genuine gold flake to inlay into the letter marks. Some kind of gold paper you rub over the letters and it adheres.
