Unfired Primer?

I have started reloading for my best friend and have found several primers that must have had light strikes. These have been bought at a local store as once fired brass. When I deprime the case (.45 auto.) they fire and part goes one way and part goes the other with a tiny bit of spark and fizzle. Other than that if I keep the powder away am I in any danger? BTW, I am not doing anymore of them. He was told if he wanted them done that he could do that part and I would do the rest. As always, thanks.

Put them in your 45 and fire them and then use the brass. I take it the bullets and powder were pulled so I would fire them first. If they won't fire then soak in oil for a few days to deactivate.

if you MUST deprime live primers be gentle, but otherwise check the cases and make sure they are empty, and fire them.

And always wear eye protection when re-loading.
