Just bought a new toy, Winchester 94 in .375. I hope you guys can give me some advice on different bullet types available. so far I have only found the Sierra 200 gr. FN, and the Hornady in 220 gr.

Is there any other suitable bullets out there?

Any advice as to which weight/ manufacture these guns prefer?

I will probably start with Reloader 7, as this seams the most versatile in this caliber. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks, Frank

I think the trick is going to be to find a bullet that's not built too heavily to expand well. The Nosler book(the only one I have at work with me now) doesn't show loads for your .375 win-only the heavier hitters. Speer probably has compatible bullets. I'll check when I'm home.

My Speer book shows only one load for the .375 Win. 235 grn SSpitz-SP. Max charge with Reloader 7 is 35 grs for a mv of 2067. Reduced charge is 31 grs for a mv 1810.

I appreciate the advice. What I would really like, is for someone who has reloaded for this caliber give me some hints on bullet weight/OAL/actual performace on game. This caliber has gone obsolete, so I will probably need to stock up soon while there are still some out there.
