Just saw on Fox that the dems are working on another $410 bil stimulus to help the one they just passed. Seeing as Citigroup is reporting they are making money this year and the dow "soared" (their words not mine) 379 points so far today, we need to throw more stimulus money to help it turn faster. I think it's a bunch of BS, but whatever.

I wonder if we can opt out on repayment if we don't believe they should be spending it?

you are kidding right. at this point why not just send everyone in america 30K and let the money trickle up this time.

Well, I"d not turn it down if they wanted to send me a check :p But seriously, that's what I was saying after they passes the FIRST bailout. Take the money, slit it up between everyone that filed a tax return the previous year, and watch the economy recover!!! But did they do that? Nooooooooooooooooooo! That would have been too smart:rolleyes:

Wasn't Citigroup one of the banks that was bailed out? If so perhaps their earnings reports was including the free money stolen from the tax payers. As far as the market goes up 300 today down 400 the next day. Not enough winning days to get out of the trouble we are in.

I'll have to say one thing about Obamauranus' stimulus package. It did involve an historic fact:

Obamauranus signed the stimulus package at the same desk that Clinton got his package stimulated.
