First off, I know the amount of rounds can vary quite a bit..but does anyone have an approximate figure on how many rounds of .38spl you can load from a pound of powder? I am trying to figure out the average cost per round to reload .38spl.
Thanks

The hard way. There are 7000 grains in a pound. How heavy is your charge? I load 38s with 4.0 of Unique. So you divide 7000 by 4.0 and get 1750 rounds. If loading wadcutter loads, with 2.5 of Bullseye, divide 7000 by 2.5 and get 2800.
The easy way. Plug your numbers in here.
