I have an H&R 9 shot 22 with a 10" barrel. The words "Hunter Model" are on the left side of the barrel. The right hand side reads" H.& R. Arms Company Worcester Mass. U.S.A. The serial number 160726 is located on the inside part of the butt tang. Have seen references to a 9 shot Hunter Model with markings on the top strap, but none with the marking on the side of the barrel as this one has. Gun has perfect walnut grips. Bluing is 90%. What is it worth?

this large frame Hunter (AKA model 933) was only manufactured after 1929.
HUNTER LARGE SOLID FRAME DOUBLE ACTION 22 RIMFIRE REVOLVER ---------1929-1939
9 shot cylinder capacity (built on the M922 frame), pull pin cylinder release, blue finish only, 10 inch octagon barrel only, two piece oversize walnut grips, marked on top strap “H&R HUNTER” of just “HUNTER”. After 1930 catalogs listed as; MODEL 933 DOUBLE ACTION
VALUE: 100%=$565 60%=$230
the marking could have changed during one of the later variations. since this is a variation of the model 922 it did recieve all the changes the m922 did, the most likely date of manufacture would be 1935 to 1939. this model hunter is a little on the rare side and not seen very ofton.
