:)I have stumbled across a WW2 Mauser HSc with mil. officers holster. Cal .32
(7.62?) The holster is in good cond. 7 out of 10 It has officers name and ser.# written in side. Bluing has holster wear (probably a 5) from being carried. Wood grips are 100% No Nazi markings but it was def. carried during the war not a postwar production. What should it be worth??:confused:

If there are no military acceptance markings it is a commercial HSc, and definitely worth less, around $300 depending on condition. The holster adds more to the value, especially if it has German markings.

It may or may not have been carried in WWII. Unless the history is known, it is safe to assume that the gun came form a pile of turned in civilian guns and the holster was acquire later for a cartoon of cigarettes :).As wonderwhippet posted, you have a Military holster and a ciilvilian handgun. There is nothing to show that they started out that way and they have to be priced as such. Sorry about that.
