C14, radiocarbon dating, carbon dating, is only used for 'recent' dates and is completely incapable of dating anything in even the six figure range, let alone the ten digit range you are claiming.

I have been debating with Old Earth believers for several decades now, and I have grown used to them dropping out of sight or changing the subject when I point out the basic science errors they make in their claims.

For some reason back in high school I remember watching a video that totally denounced the validity of carbon dating. I could be wrong but for some reason it involved a 1912 eruption that covered the landscape. Scientists went in and did carbon dating on something (sorry to be so vague) that carbon dating put it at 30,000 years old but the truth to the matter was that this volcanic eruption did something in 80 years that according to carbon dating took 30K. I'll have to look into what that was, it was one of the few things that actually interested me in HS.

I read the whole page, and the only MENTION of radiocarbon dating did not - repeat NOT claim it was used to date the earth to four billion years.

In fact, the only time they mentioned it at all was to say exactly what I already told you; it is only good for 50,000 years or less.

True science is exact, Spaz. There is no room for specious claims based on false information.
