A friend of mine asked my to research this but I am computer stupid could you help please
It is a german pistol
schwarzlose gr. bh berlin
I believe it to be a .32 cal
BUT the slide goes forward instead of being pulled back.
no ser.# that I could see
John wants to know what it might be worth?

The Schwarzlose Pocket Model of 1908 will generally bring $350-$400 in nice condition. They were all serialized however, and the fact that you cannot readily see the serial number plus the apparent wear causing you to misread the slide legend (its GMBH you are seeing) leads me to believe that the condition is somewhat less than nice.
Figure $250-$300.

Yep......the Doc has nailed it.
BTW, that GMBH or GmbH roughly translates to "Company" from German.

GmbH (Gesellschaft mit beschraenkter Haftung) is the equivalent to the english LTD. (Limited).
Another useless chunk of knowledge :p
