I know, And he claims that he does not need the US Senate to ratify it. Declares that it has already been ratified during the Bush Administration, he is only amending it to keep up with the times. According to him and his Socialist congress, amendments to an existing treaty are not subject to Senate ratification. No big deal anyway. The Socialist party with a 60 vote majority would ratify it anyway, in a heart beat.

He needs 67 votes in the Senate to pass a treaty. But even some Democrats wouldn't touch anything having to do with gun control with a 10 ft pole.
