Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin plans to lend a campaign hand to Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann in her congressional re-election effort.

Bachmann said today that Palin would join her on the campaign trail in April. Bachmann is in pursuit of a third term in the central Minnesota 6th Congressional District.

Two Democrats are competing for the nomination to face her in the fall.

Palin, the 2008 Republican nominee for vice president, was last in Minnesota in December as part of her book tour.

Senator Specter, (I use the term "Senator" with anger) today you have proven yourself to be no more than a bitter old washed up ass of a politician.

Please save yourself and your constituents any further embarrassment and resign.

Not full of subtleties but gets the point across unless your a bitter washed up old ass. His changing parties is analogous to the wisdom of the last guy to get a ticket on the Hindenburg, it seemed like a great idea at the time, but....
