Been experimenting with Pandora internet radio for about a month or so and I'm here to tell yall it's WAY KEWL. Course most of you probably know about it already as I'm usually the last to find something.

You create your own stations with music personalized to your tastes.

I just picked two of my favorite artists and I have two stations that match artists of the same genre. so far two is all that's been required to keep me entertained for hours on end.

The two stations I chose were a Hoyt Axton station and a Ry Cooder station (best guitarist I know of)

I turned on my Hoyt station a few minutes ago and I've heard Hoyt, Willie Nelson, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Waylon Jennings to name just a few. All this for free while you sit at your computer and work (or play).

Earlier listening to Ry I got such artists as Taj Mahal, The Stones, Some old classic blues singers and many really good groups I didn't know existed. It is amazing how this program can select music taylored to your tastes by just by entering a single artist. If they play something you don't like just click thumbs down and you wont hear it again. It gets more refined as you input likes and dislikes.

If you haven't tried it I recommend you give it a try if like music of any kind.

HMMM maybe a Fats Domino station?

Here ya go: http://www.pandora.com/#/ Enjoy

I like Pandora a lot, until it tells me my basic 40 hours has been used up for the month! LOL!! Sometimes the music genome project's choices are a surprise, but I have discovered a few new artists that I like.

Sounds neat, I'm going to have to check it out.
I'm a fan of all who you mentioned especially Ry & Taj.

P.S. Don't feel late for the party. This is the first that I've heard of pandora.com. ;) :D

P.S.S. This is sweet. I set up a station for Taj. Got Keb' Mo, "Meet me in the Morning" by Dylan & Lightin Hopkins, like I said, sweet!!

Thanks, Airdale!!

Pandora is great and so is Songza. If you like old time
blues, jazz, folk and even cajun, try this (it's free):

http://www.juneberry78s.com/sounds/index.htm

Here is an article that has many more free, legal music sites.
Pandora is still the best.
