Our Constitution is our only protection and big big big obstacle to law makers.
On the "Hill" they often use the phrase, "But how are we going to get this around the Constitution?" There are several bills before Congress now calling for it to be amended. If they call a Con-Con = Constitutional Congress to make any amendments -- it will be done in secret, behind closed doors and we won't even recognized it when it's finished. It's was recently tried and
stopped by one dissenting vote from Arizona.
Today is Independence Day. It's not about picnics, parades, and
fireworks, it's the day we celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence dated July 4. Many of the signers endured great personal hardships, and laterstripped of their power and wealth in retaliation. It was the first militias under the Continental Congress who fought and died for it, along with all of our vets who did the same in all the wars since the first war for Independence to keep us free -- DON'T LET THEM TAKE THAT FREEDOM AWAY!
Remember in prayer today, our kids fighting in Afghanistan and the Gulf and who were lied to by our president, and told they would be home for 4th of July with their families. Will they even recognize America if and when they return?
