Bunch of damn desk jockeys want to cut the pay of the deployed soldiers because the pentagon can't afford it.

If they really want to save money then start with some of the waste and ignorance that is prevelant in the Military leadership. It is dead wrong to cut the pay of the soldiers who are putting their lives in danger. Just think what kind of stress this type of BS puts on a 21 year old mother of 3 with her husband deployed to Iraq and recieving E-3 pay.

Our elected officails need to ehar about this.

This really angers me. Our soldiers are our first line of defense and not only earn every penny they are paid, but deserve to be paid much better than they are. It is absolutely reprehensible that the Pentagon would even think of cutting their pay.

Looks like it's time to contact my Congressmen again.

It goes beyond reprehensible!

They should be developing ways to increase the compensation, especially as it seems the danger has increased rather then diminished since the "ceasation" of hostilities and the success of the mission.

Southern is right! - - - -

- - - - - - - - - -It's time for very pointed letters and e-mail to go to your Congressman and each of your two Senators to short circuit this travesty immediately before it gets off the ground.

I'll bet that 90% of those fat assed over weight physically unfit desk jockeys have never seen/been in combat!!! Not only that, they have probably served in cushy admin jobs for the majority of their service time and never worked in a non air-conditioned working environment

If they had been they damn sure wouldn't be considering decreasing pay, they'd be looking at ways to increrase it.

Think it's about time to write the Commander in Chief and tell him what I think of his henchmen.
