Useing Bullseye and finding info from 1.12.0 to 1.18.5 for OAL
Useing Precision Bullets 155gr
1.12.0 buries the bullet very deep
Any info would be great...TKS,

Whenever I've got a new bullet, I will check the load data and then make up some dummy rounds. In your case, start seating at 1.185 and see how the dummy rounds cycle in your gun. Measure the dummy rounds after cycling to make sure they haven't seated deeper. What does the bullet look like seated at 1.185?

Typo? 1.135 is Max for the 40 S&W.
I was kinda wondering about the 'IP address' OALs too.

Check some more manuals. I find 1.125 OAL listed most often regardless of bullet weight. Depending on specifics I load at 1.12-1.125. For the 40, I like to recommend loading somewhat long to give a little margin of safety for the high pressure round. Realize that every gun-bullet combo is different, so the best OAL for your gun may not be what runs best in one of mine.
