I hope you have discovered how this new format works by now. I'm still learning, and don't have a clue as to how my moderator tools work Mar 25, 2014

Myles, read my thread called This is disturbing! I got it from facebook, and verified it on Google. Bad news.

Dang! I was 14 when you were born! I was born in '48. I went to sock hops with my older girl cousins back in the late 50's. Lots of fond memories form the 50's.

How's the job going? Got to run to town today to get a BD cake for my step son, might stop by for a minute, or two.

That would have been around 1962, in Midland, TX, on the way to NM.

What year exactly was it when you paid .08 cents a gallon for gas?

Carver, I live between Center and San Augustine... way out in the sticks. The gun shop in Lufkin is Custom Guns. There about a mile east and 3 miles north (on TX 103). New facilities and they had a good stock.

I am averaging 34 mpg. A scooter would be fun, but the big trucks and all of those who dont pay attention while driving make that impossible.

What's you mileage round trip? You might want to consider a hiway legal scooter for the gas mileage.

It is the best one ever. The only thing is the drive. Other than that, its all good.

I was thinking that was a possibility. God first, then family. Everything else falls into place as is needed. I can't afford it either. Working on my target set up, planning to put some logs behind all my targets. All bullets fired will stop in the logs, and as they wear out the lead can be recycled. So any time you feel the urge to shoot off a few rounds, just give me a call. I'm home most of the time. Just got thru loading up 300 rounds of .38, and am now setting up for .44 spcl, and .44 Mag, and I'll get around to some .357 in the near future. How do like your new job?

Morning, Myles. I have to let the range membership go. Being here 6 days a week makes getting out there hard. I cant justify the expense either.

Myles, the little computer shows up under the users name when he makes a post. There is the little button that shows if they are online and the button for infractions and the report a post button and the little computer.....
