I was lurking at and I noticed that you had a spare M95 Dutch bolt.
If you still have it are you interested in selling it?

For pictures of my Simson Suhl look under "Social Groups" "German Shoptguns". I might have figured it out. Nutslanding

I recently purchased one of these guns. Very impressive but...I should have done my research before the purchase and not after. I have no idea what I have. It is marked Simson Shul (Thuringen). It is a 20 gauge with 26 inch barrels, double trigger, extractors and sling swivels. I am assuming it is a post war gun. It has a serial number of 248998. I am confident paid way too much.
I have just joined this forum and assume I am speaking with Contenderizer, who seems to have some grasp of the genealogy of this weapon. Can you help me identify the gun and give me some idea of value. Thanks, Nutslanding

In addition to appreciating the versatility of T/C Contenders, I have a fondness for the quality and value of Simson shotguns. My research has enabled me to write "The History and Guns of Simson & Co., Suhl, Germany" available at www.cornellpubs.com
