Actually you will be 180 miles north of me, to far to shoot so you can relax. I was just up to Rhinelander for my mothers funeral and I have a cousin that lives not to far from where you will be, Like me she is an old retired coot except she prefers to call herself a lady of leisure.

I'll be in your neck of the woods later this week, doing some fishin' with my buddies from southern WI. Sooo if you happen to see some cigar smokin' yahoos floating downstream kindly let us pass. We'll be up near Rice lake, Spooner area. Yellow river is the one we float. Wish us luck!

There have been many threads on the 22 LR as a HD/SD weapon and I try to bring a bit of sanity into the discussion but I am not sure which thread you are referring to. However if I wrote it and you liked it then you are welcome to it.

Iwould like you to know I enjoyed reading your response to the .22 as a HDweapon. I am a Certified Firearms Instructor in Ma, If you do not mind, I would like to copy it and hand it to my students. Cliff Tomassian

Were you an FTM on the USS Canberra? I was an FTM3/2 on her from Mar66 - Jun68. Worked two WestPacs up in director 10, and a third in Weapons Control. Did the Boston's last WestPac as an FTM1 in '69. - Ron Riml, MACS, USNR-Ret
