G'day pops, i think when you get aware of life and how things work we all get to the same place sooner or later , sometimes its good , sometimes its bad , sometimes you see just how much work needs doin , and decide it's time to roll the sleeves up and get stuck in

      cheers mate

Marlin model 37...all the other Marlin pumps from the 1910-1930's are in this style.

The only real difference in the pumps of that era is the length of mag tube...

There is a pair of oddballs that are hammerless from that era as well, the model 38 & 42, rare as heck.

After 1932, Marlin, for some odd reason, quit making slide-action rifles.

Honestly, from the feel of the model 37 that I have...they should bring them back...it's smooth as silk and is deadly precise on tree rats & rabbits.

      Hi pops42.
With your octagon barrel is where I came to a stop on a search for front sights
(truglo) for a henry a couple years ago.
Tru Glo do have the sights, Front and back (T-G112) and also sell the rear or front truglo sights.
When I found out that Tru Glo themselves doenst make them for the Octagon barrel when I was looking to put some on the one that I had, that's where my search stopped.
So to answer youe question, Ive yet to find where you can get the ones for the octagon barrel? I really didnt look any further after my search for them with mine faild (once) but one would think that someone would make them!
I'm sorry I couldnt be of more help with your question.
When you do find who would make them to go on the octagon barrel, please let me know?
      Zane
