I used to reload 30 years ago. I still have a single stage with .357 & .41 mag dies. I am buying a Rem. R1 and also have .40 now. But i don't shoot every week or a million rounds.
When ammo was resonable I bought lots of like 500 pretty cheap.
So my question is. What does it cost to reload like .38 specials, .357, .45 LC and .45 acp's today.
I see I can buy .45 acp's for as low as 43 cents around. I'd want a multiple station press if I were to get back to reloading. And keep my present press set up for the .41 mag as i wouldn't reload a lot of those. But even if i bought the least expensive Lee at $177 + tax, ship, and other die sets. i wonder how many loads it would take to pay. Plus It die say a bit difficult to get adjusted and if i were switching calibers all the time.
Thanks to anyone who can help.
