Best factory round I have found. This is some seriously good stuff for not being "match grade". I just got done doing some penetration testing and was VERY impressed. I shot at six 5 gallon jugs of water twice. Both rounds penetrated four jugs and stopped in the fith. I then looked at the expansion, which was spectacular. Both rounds were nearly identical. Accuracy is amazing as well. I'm continually shooting 3/4 MOA with my worn out 1:12 barrel. 165g is not ideal for my twist rate but that's all I can find. The rounds are not cheap at all. I pay $60 for a box of 20 at my location, but they are well worth the price. If you are looking for a highly accurate hunting round, look no further. I highly suggest picking up a box just to try out, I promise you will be impressed.
The BC on the 165g are pretty impressive for a hunting round, 442. For a comparison, here is my 100yd group with 180g Remington Core-LOKT
Same rifle, same range with Barnes
I'll take it.
When I get my new scope in I will extend the range much further. I will start with 100yds and eventually work my way up to 1000... I don't have particularly high hopes for the 165g at that distance but hey, maybe I will be surprised!
And here is a pretty good little review by another happy customer.

Anyway, just thought I'd share.
