I have a model 1907 savage handgun. While field stripping for cleaning the hammer locking pin fell out. I did not realize this at the time and completed the re-assembly. Now I am unable to dissassembly the gun in attempt to reinsert the hinge pin. Is there anything I can do or is the gun now useless ? Thanks !!
Problem solved by gun shop in Grantville, Ga. My Savage 1907 model is back in firing order. No modifications were required. No technical solutions offered other than it was a two man job. Thanks for the listening.!!!
Sorry no one here had an answer for you, flying cowboy. I'm glad to hear you got it fixed. Those Savages are nice pistols. A guy named Bailey Brower wrote a good book for collectors about them. It's on Amazon for $20-$30.
Sorry I missed you, Cowboy. (Been on vacation away from computer.) I have a couple of those, and like them. Glad you're back together.
