I had to test them out after the MSH switch to make sure everything was put together correctly. Thankfully, no malfunctions were experienced due to my tinkering. The Scorpion is a joy to shoot now with the smoother grips! And the sharp grips on the TacOps don't hurt as much; I think its because the SIG profile slide of the TacOps is heavier than the Scorpion's traditional 1911 profile combined with the extra weight of the rail and the longer barrel. All together I fired 400 rounds in the Scorpion and about 250 in the TacOps. Target was shot at 14 yards.

I am really liking these SIG 1911s!!

Nice shooting! I don't have any 1911s, but I sure like my two Sigs - a P238 and a P938. The 938 came with nasty, rough grips, though I'd asked for plain rubber. The dealer tried, but all he could find was the Extreme model, so that's what he ordered. Once it arrived, he added the rubber grips for me, and the plain MSH is on order, due to be here next week. Once I install that, the P938 will probably be the first choice go-to gun for me from now on. I can't think of anything to add to make it more perfect.

I am completely opposite. I like rough grips and plenty of checkering. No slipping in sweaty hands. Easy to keep on target.
