Since hurting my foot, I haven't been able to cook. Just heat stuff up. Simple, quick easy things. That's why I have posted much of late.

Tonight? Either a sandwich or a frozen dinner. Again.

Still looking forward to start cooking again. I was looking for something easy to make and came across this: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/recipe/home-cronut-recipe-dominique-ansel-25948902

There's no chance at all I could ever make those! They look great, though. So, I challenge @JoeV to give it a shot! If anybody could make those, I'm sure he's the one who can do it! What do you say, JoeV?

Lean Cuisine Cheddar Broccoli and Potatoes with a can of Premium Chunk Chicken. Very satisfying 400 Calories.

Occasionally I make a tomato sandwich it's even better if you add some peeled sliced cucumber with salt and pepper.

Didn't eat yesterday at all. A few crackers with peanut butter was it. Just didn't feel hungry. So, today, different story. Woke up to a roast beef sandwich and some cottage cheese and then The Hat (again) for dinner.

Actually, the chili I love has no beans. Therefor, not methane (farts). :) I'm a believer that chili shouldn't have beans. But, I will eat it if it did, but they have to be kidney beans and must be joined by chunks of green bell peppers and onions. (Country Style Chili)

Tacos El Paisa Leftovers - Pozole But, was shocked at the bottom of the container of Pozole!

I haven't decided on dinner tonight, but I found these trailer trash shot glasses at Wally World tonight and couldn't resist: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Red-Cup-Shot-Glass-Set-of-4/36183260

When I arrived home, I spied a ball jar full of brandy I've been soaking dried apricots in for a couple of years, and magically, as if it was meant to be, there were no apricots currently marinating. So I decided to take one of the new shot glasses for a test drive. Ooooohhh, now that's smooth!

I may not get around to dinner...

Only had 550 calories yesterday. So, today was burrito night. Burrito with the last of the Tacos El Paisa carnitas. It also had Queso Fresca, cilantro, onions, salsa verde, hot sauce with pickled jalapenos and habaneros all topped with fresh lime juice. I forgot the sour cream.

Used to love the stuff from a place out here. But, 'hipsters' starting bragging about it and they doubled the cost of it and I stopped buying it. $10 a jar is not worth it. Does you wife sell the stuff?

Dinner last night was a Boston's Market Turkey Pot Pie

Love kimchi. I tried making it once, it was ok a little too sour.

$10 a quart. So, $40 for a gallon. At $12 a gallon, that's pretty cheap. Like I said, homemade authentic Kimchi is the recent trend here in SoCal so it's now pricey stuff. Does she ship any of it? I might be interested to try some if the shipping isn't too expensive.

She went to Atlanta yesterday and came home with her whole trunk full of Napa and kimchi makings!! She is over at her Church this morning making another batch of it. I will ask her about it when she gets home. Knowing her, I lean toward her saying no, too much trouble, but I will ask.
The people at her church say she makes the best they have ever tasted, and they are all Korean!

Now I'm more intrigued to try it! LOL

Just let me know with a PM or something if she's game.
