Just finished loading four boxes of 12 gauge on my 30+ year old Sizemaster. I know there are much better loaders out there but there's something about it that reminds me of my childhood. Spent many hours tugging the handle as a teenager. Thought I'd play a little bit to see if I could tame things down for my daughter so I put 17.5 grains of Clay Dot (bushing #34) with 7/8oz of #8 shot and we'll see how it goes. Pressures should be around 5600-5800 psi so hopefully it will be mild enough for her to enjoy. I know a 28 gauge would be better for her, and I think one might be coming in the near future, but she wants to try some of the 12's I have.

Have a 30+ year old Mec 600 jr for 20 guage. I pull it out once and a while and load a few shells. It still works just like it was new. Still have some very old Green Dot and Herco in paper cans, it still goes bang.

Been considering buying a new 12 gauge Mec but I don't shoot a lot of shotgun shells anyone but I sure do enjoy loading shot shells.
