I personally would not think so, but who knows how the ATF might react. No matter what, one thing for sure, I would not buy it from CheaperThanDirtbags!
That's ok I have one already, I got it at a local gun show. I just needed a link to illustrate what I was talking about. I'm glad NPGunsmith posted that link I was getting some heat from someone about the legality of my setup.
I got the feel of it at Cabelas. it was a good fit for my frame. That would be a fun gun for some tactical drills for mid range with that long eye relief scope. I could see where a few swap put optics for short range, etc would be nice for the "O-bag-of-fun."
When I get bored I search for ATF letters to keep on file so I don't have to ask my jerk ATF Rep. anything (he is usually half-a**ed informed anyways). If any of you have saved ATF letters on things, please send them to me (Gunsmith@npguns.com) I'd appreciate it.
That is a slick looking pistol, looks like it be a fire spitter! I recently ran across a new type of flash hider (new to me as I've never heard of it) that redirects or lessens the amount of bang/flash that comes out. Not sure how effective it really is, but kind of interesting and might be nice on a pistol or rifle with a lot of "bark". http://www.tacticallink.com/Ferfran...ssion-Reduction-Device-for-AR15-5.56-223.html
The closed tube linear comps don't do anything for flash, but direct the blast forward nicely. This Noveske KX3 is a looker, but others function just as well for less $$. The pictured 7.5" is just for fun. Edit: it's a KX5 - the smaller diameter model.

The AR pistol (first one I posted) that I hunt with is chambered in .300 blackout & is fairly quiet as far as short barrels go. The .300 blackout round is made to be suppressed & comes in sub-sonic versions.
This AR pistol is another problem entirely. It is so loud that I have to wear ear plugs & muffs to keep my ears from ringing. It is chambered in .223.
It spits a 3' dia. ball of fire each pull of the trigger & is as inaccurate as hell. It is lucky to hit an 18" target at 50 yds. I am planing to do a special reload just for it to see if I can tune down the power of the round to get better accuracy.
