What do y'all think of this pistol? I am definitely no firearms expert and hope some of you would give me your unbiased reports. PLEASE only if you own or have handled and fired, quite a bit, on of these Buck Rogers guns.

I have owned two of them and shot both of them quite a bit. Both were owned at different times and both were extremely accurate right out of the box. They are very light pistols but the recoil was very manageable. I think they are slightly over priced, but if I had the money, I would own another one. I don't consider them a "buck rogers" type of gun, but I guess they are "ultra modern" so maybe buck rogers is not too far off base!:p

Yes Double D, you have to REALLY want one - and I'm not there yet. Incidentally, I was working in a gun store when they were released. I wasn't interested in them then but would love to have been prescient and ferretted out the dealer cost. Durn. Care to tell us? It's not like you are anywhere around me. I'm in south Baton Rouge - the land that Hollywood believes is full of alligator hunter, duck call makers and etc. Soooo....wanna tell?

Sure, they are $988.00 dealer price. Too many 1911s left to buy before plunking down that kind of cash for a plastic gun....I would need to find a used one....

I've only had one shooting session where I got the chance to fire one and be around others firing it. Accuracy seemed alright, but the muzzle report was pretty annoying sounding for a small gun. Reminded me a lot of a CAR pistol. But then again I never wear hearing protection unless forced to as a range rule so I guess I can't blame the gun too much.

A buddy of mine bought one because the guy at the gun store crowed about what a great weapon it was. Initially he had a few dozen failure to feeds, but once the rough spots were worn down by shooting a few hundred rounds through it, it settled in nicely. I haven't fired it yet, but I plan to. I just hope he is on board with that idea.

A very good friend's father owns one. I've fired perhaps half a dozen magazines and been there to see maybe 25 more. Seems accurate, low recoil, comfortable. I have though, witnessed several feed issues that were quickly solved with a shot of clp. It always looked quite clean, I know the owner is one to keep his guns so, but either this one in particular or maybe the gun in general likes to run a little wet.
