New Stool For My Bench!

I needed a new stool for my reloading bench. I found that a regular round swivel stool wasn't comfortable after a while. I found a discarded stool with a backrest. I dried it out. My wife bought me some cloth from Walmart, and we recovered it. A friend with an embroidery sewing machine embellished the backrest for me.

Same here with my Hornady and Lee stuff. The only question is who gets top billing?;)

I could get a red colored chair with a green border and blue lettering, but I think HB is going to do that!!!!:D

Ooppps, I just notice my statement "The only question is who gets top billing," leaves me open for a Dillon or Redding fan to answer that question.

I use a medical office type stool with rollers. The only problem I have is it rolls too easy and I'm afraid it is going to roll out from under me when I start to set down.

I'll bet you could sell those. You would have to make some different ones that said "Hornady", "Dillon", "Lee", and "RCBS". Of course those companies might object to using their names without permission. :)

I was looking for something comfortable with a reloading/firearms theme. I didn’t find anything on the RCBS site, or anything I liked online. This one at work had been left outside. I left in the boiler room for a day to dry out, I think it will be in service for quite a while now…:)

I got me a new (old) chair this morning. We had a "clean up" day at my Church this morning so I went over to help. We were basically moving a bunch of junk/stuff out of the food pantry room over to a storage building. There was a stack of chairs, with cushion back and seat, that was going to the dump so I got one of them.

It is no where near as pretty as that RCBS chair, but now my butt will be cushioned when I reload.

Up until a couple of days ago I had been standing while reloading. My employers upgraded some of the adjustable shop chairs at work and I was able to snag an older one that I used at work. It is fairly comfortable and in good shape and sets perfectly using my 550b and strong mount at the bench. Funny thing is, I have used this chair at work before and for some reason it is much more comfortable to sit on at my reloading bench than it was to sit on it at work! Go figure huh?;)
