I thought I had that somewhere. I found it and uploaded it this morning but was in a hurry.
I wanted to also tell you a quirk with these rifles when loading them. Make sure the bolt is forward and fired. Don't load it with the bolt locked to the rear or you will have to take the action out of the stock because ammo will find it's way in there and cause a major jamb. Load it with the bolt forward and the trigger pulled. Well, I'm not positive about having to pull the trigger to release the firing pin, it's been a long time since I shot mine.
Unique rifles. Semi, bolt action or single shot all in one rifle. If you have shot it you know that it has a double seer that holds the bolt back after you fire it until you release the trigger. I had mine at the range one day, everyone wanted to see it and shoot it.
Funny thing about mine and others, it's more accurate shooting it semi. I thought it would go the other way.
gunhugger,
Any chance on getting an original copy of the breakdown? In the process of restoring one and having the paperwork would go great with it. The wood actually turned out very nice just waiting on the blueing to be finished. A lot more money than the gun was worth but there is a sentimental attachment to it. The poor rifle will more than likely not be shot anywhere near as much the rest of its life as it has already been.
No, sorry. I think the above came from an auction or something. It was posted a few years ago and I saved it to my hard drive. It's sort of hard to read but better than nothing I guess.
There is a chance that I have the American Rifleman magazine that it came from since I have a large pile of those. But these pages don't give the date or even the year.
I know I'm resurrecting an old thread for my first post, but I have found a better copy of the breakdown. GunHugger, it looks to come out of the May 1964 edition.
An excellent rifle with one quirk. If it starts to bend the cartridge in the feedway to a banana shape, it is doubling (goimng full auto). Fixed the peened disconnector-pin seats. Max
