Re: ALL M&P Shield Warning

I was going to get one for CC but couldn't find one any where. Bought a Ruger Commander 1911 instead. Now I am glad I did.

That trigger issue could as easily be caused by failure to clean properly as well,
dang sure needs to be re-planned and redone...looks like they shoulda copied Glock better ;)

I sold my M&P shield .40 after firing about 100 rounds. I just could not get by the trigger that took two men and mule to pull. I could never learn to shoot the gun. Every shot low left meaning I was jerking the trigger, but I could not improve so I sold it.

This is an old thread but I don't mind since it involves a safety issue with a very popular pistol. An update with my son's M&P,It doesn't have said issue but since I last posted I've had the oppurtunity to shoot it quite a bit.(He left it here with me for a year or two). Maybe its just me but I could never get used to the trigger pull on it.Or maybe I just didn't like the trigger feel,I don't know.I don't mean to be talking the pistol down,I know that lots of guys love theirs,I just wouldn't buy one for myself.I'd spend the money on something else.Just MHO.

Mine works very well and has not had a single problem. I don't mind the pull but am intrigued by a trigger job. It has proven itself to me, I can hit a 2" log at 20 yards from a draw while in a boat (don't ask). I'm even considering one in 45acp now that they finally make it
