What is your favorite 22 rifle? Mine is the Winchester Model 1906, this has been in our family for over 70 years. It is a great shooter for all ages.

I have seven Mossbergs so far. Love them! Picked up my own 320b recently, and it's a great little shooter. But my favorite Mossy is my M42M, with full Mannlicher stock, and Marbles-Goss aperture target rear sight and globe front sight. Scary accurate up to 50 yards. Who needs a scope?

I'd have to say I'm on the side of whatever happens to be in my hand at the moment. This is the extent of my 22 rimfire rifle collection. Don't really have anything in particular I have my sights on to add just yet but I'm sure I'll find something soon. From Top to Bottom
Marlin 25M
Mossberg 151M (learned to shoot on this one)
Ruger 10/22
Henry H001T
Winchester 1906
Henry MiniBolt (use this one to teach all the yungins)

Two Marlin 60's
Stevens 87B which is a hoot
Marlin 25
Henry Golden Boy
Ruger 10/22

My favorite would be hard to choose between the stainless Marlin 60 and the Henry but I'd probably go with the Henry. My least favorite is the Ruger which hasn't been fired in years.

I bought a Henry lever gun in .22 long after I sold an older Remington 597 with the scope taken off (a decent Bushnell with good glass). Both guns will take a scope, but a lever gun will shoot any .22 including shorts since the cycling of shells is manual and not by blowback. For pests and to reduce noise in a town, a CCI .22 short is handy to have around, especially in a revolver.

My most accurate (so far) is my 513T Matchmaster. Three shot cloverleaf at 50 yd. I just bought, but have not scoped/shot yet, a CZ 452 American. I will need to see what it can do.
Favorite, or most fun, either of my two Nylon 66 rifles. Very accurate for a plastic stocked rifle. Surprisingly accurate as a matter of fact.

Here are two of my favorites. A 10/22 and CZ 455. The 10/22 out shoots the 455 much to my surprise. View attachment 92432 View attachment 92433
This really surprises me that your 10/22 outshoots the CZ. Do you have any modifications to either of them. The trigger on the CZ needs a little "smoozing"from the factory, but after that they are usually great shooters.

Both are straight from the factory with no modifications. The 455 had to go back after the first 10 shots. No rounds after that would fire. Turns out the barrel was loose. It is held in place by two screws and both were loose from the factory.

Both guns have a Nikon 3-9X40 scope and at 50 yards I can put five CCI standard rounds under a dime with the 10-22. The best I've been able to do with the 455 is about a quarter size group and that's not very often.
