How to disassemble a Winchester 75 (69) bolt?

I have a "new" 1948 Winchester Model 75. I would like to disassemble and clean the bolt. I haven't been able to find directions or a video. If anyone knows of such a post, can you point it out to me. I've been able to find the model 52 and even the model 67, but not the 75.
Thanks in advance,
Vance

Have you heard of Rimfire Central. That is an awesome forum with a wealth of knowledge.

I used to have a 75 winchester I am not really sure, but if you search for the model 69a model with illustrations it may be the same bolt.

You need to uncock it then push out the breech bolt sleeve pin remember there will still be spring presser on it so hold it together so it will not blow apart. Then remove the striker assembly then you can use a brass or plastic hammer to remove the bolt sleeve. The extractor is held in with pins also.
The rest is easy just by looking at it and stripping it.
If you are going to strip the whole thing and are not use to it then take some pictures of each step so you can put it back together.
Numrich has a schematic of it and you can look at that to see what is what.

Why do you need to disassemble it? Have had my Win 75T rifle a good fifteen years, and never saw the need to go that far.
There are Firearms Disassembly/Reassembly books available. I have the Centerfire Rifle book, and there is also a Rimfire edition. Maybe find one for sale on ebay or Amazon? Should cover the Win Model 69, if not the actual Model 75.

Hello Bigdog57. The rifle is new to me, I don't know what condition the internals are in, I just feel better if I've looked at everything. That said, Goofy is right on. I've sent a few parts flying through the air and don't want to do that again. MS6852 - this site and Rimfire Central are the best. I've been checking here since I got into this fool, mad, gonna drive me nuts one of these days hobby. I tell my wife I work on guns to relax. She looks at me funny.
