I have started a new thread because I do not want to "Jack" Tonka's thread. Tonka, you are a good friend and I appreciate you.

76high boy, can I ask why your considering on deleting your hornady products? You talked so highly about hornady. Please give me your input. It's great that you enjoy helping others, like you do. Of course do what's right for you. Please let me know your deleting your hornady products. Thanks again for your videos.

Fair enough.

I have always been a huge Joyce Hornady fan and my channel was certainly a way that I could support a company that I always looked up to. I have also been a fan of Steve Hornady because I admired how he filled his fathers shoes and kept the business in the family. That certainly speaks volumes about his character and I believe Jason is nothing less. However, after hundreds of videos in support of Hornady I have no working relationship with them. Because of my videos Hornady has sold LITERALLY hundreds of reloading presses!!! I hear from so many of my subscribers that they either called Hornady to tell them about my YouTube channel or they write Hornady to tell them about my videos and not one time has Hornady picked up the phone and recognized me.

Redding and Dillon on the other hand: Redding has been so gracious and they were that way before even reviewing their Big Boss press. Dillon as well!!! These two companies have actually picked the phone up to speak to me and it just humbles me. One of my subscribers and good friend took the time to write Redding speaking about my channel and Redding took the time to send me a copy via. e-mail. I cannot compliment Redding and Dillon enough and they come highly recommended by me.

I will be starting my M1 Garand series and will be running Redding in those videos. Once the AR-15 kicks off I am hoping to have my funds together to have my first Dillon on my channel. I currently have the Dillon Square Deal B and they have graciously loaned it to me. I am running .357 mag on it but once done I hope to purchase it and set it up for 45 Auto. Shooter45 got me turned onto the Dillon SDB and Shooter was right. It is a press worth having to say the least.

I hope I bring no offense to my viewers and I have only good things to say about the Hornady product line.

When I wanted to go to a prog press I looked around and found your channel. I had two choses, Dillon or Hornady. You convinced me to go with Hornady with your videos. My best friend went with Dillon and thought I was nuts. I said I was so impressed with Bill Morgan I am going with Hornady. With your help I got it set up and working well. I can understand your feelings as you explained them about the difference between Red and Blue. A man gots to do what a man gots to do. How ever please, please don't delete your videos. Those of us left with Big Red will need them in the future. Seems I am always a dollar short and a day late. I Just got my press set up and running two weeks ago and now I see you are leaving us and going with Dillon. If I know then what I know now I would have bought Blue. If you delete your videos you will hurt us that are left. Good luck in the future.

back in 2011 I bought a Hornady AP LnL press before I got a bench built and the press setup I hurt my back back and missed a lot of time at work. Now I I am better ( back still acts up) and caught up on bills and such . I am back to the point I can get the bench built and the press setup. but I am wondering should I go ahead with the Hornady or wait a month or 2 and buy a Dillon 650XL setup.
I don;t have any other reloading equiptment just the Hornady press.
What do you guys think?

Are you saying you already have the LNL AP press? If so, finish your bench, mount your press and start enjoying the benefits and pleasures of reloading. Spend your money on other reloading tools and components not on replacing a perfectly good press that has not been used. Some people like Ford, some like Chevy, and some like both.

For what it's worth, Highboy, I enjoyed your Hornady videos, and fully expect to enjoy your Redding and Dillon videos, as well. I use RCBS stuff almost exclusively because I bought a very comprehensive kit for a very fair price a few years ago, and I've found no compelling reason to change brands. Even so, I learned a bunch from your videos, and expect that I'll learn some more from your future Redding and Dillon channels. Keep up the great work!

Since you have the LnL already, I would start with that and see if you really like reloading. If after awhile you don't like the LnL you could always buy the Dillon. I have only used the Dillon 550b so I can not give you any advice on the Hornady. I understand they may need adjustments, but once that is done they seem to run OK. You will get many answers to your question to what you should do, take them with a grain of salt and decide what YOU want. Just my $.02.
