The guys at Cabela's told me they are getting some in every week now. The price was a little steep but at least they had it. As long as its under $.10 a round I buy some. Looks to me that they are finally catching up to demand .

My son was reminding me that when 9 mil and 45 acp finally started becoming available it was expensive also. Now I can get 9 mil cheaper than I could before all this ammo shortage started.

I saw a bunch of .22's at a Gun Show today. Examples.....500rds.Thunderbolts @ $50.00,
300rds.CCI Troy Landry Mini-Mags@ $45.00, 1,400rd.bucket of Golden Bullets $150.00. 100rd.boxes CCI SV @ $18.00. Federal Auto match 325 rd. boxes @$39.00 all + tax. I hope that scalper chokes on that ammo, I didn't see anyone buying it.
Lot's of good deals on .22 Rifles though....no wonder, with ammo prices like that.

Gvw3, did Cabelas limit you on how much you could buy? In the Ct. store last time I was there they would only sell you 100 rounds per day. Of course if your from out of state you can't buy any in Ct now.

Profit.
Their machines are running full out. People will pay a lot for cheap Federal Bulk these days, but they don't like it. People will pay a lot more for automatch and feel less badly about it. So they use their capacity to make what makes them the most money and keeps their client base as happy as practicable.

Iron Eagle, yes it's a taurus. The reason I was looking to get rid of it is it's got a strong trigger pull in double action and a heavy hammer pull for single action and my smith says he can't do anything for it. I bought it for my granddaughter (22 years old) to learn hand gun shooting and don't think she'll do well with it. I have several single action 22 revolvers and 4 22 semi's but wanted to start her with a double action. Going to look for a used S&W.

I was at an LGS today, they had Remington, El Aguila, CCI minimags, CCI shotshells, Federal Auto Match, RWS sub-sonic match, and both Remington and CCI .22 WRM....Prices are what we've been seeing posted, but that's the biggest variety I've seen in at least a couple of years.

We didn't stay as long as I would really have liked to. For most of the time, my son shot his AR-15. He had put some new back up sights on it and was sighting them in and since he had to move his scope forward a couple of inches, he had to sight it back in. I was not going to post a range report but when I get home from Church after while I will try to get one up. We only shot up a couple of hundred .22s.
