I'm impressed with Santa. Blow that picture up and take a look. With that "you really need to look up here" pose, he's looking at the camera.

GOOD Santa. ;)

If they were still that price and mailed to your door, I know I'd have a half dozen or more. There were also other ads for surplus military rifles and pistols selling for well under $200, I believe, and they were also mailed to your door. That would be today's gun buyer's dream. (sigh):oops::oops::oops::oops::oops:

Great old adds, from a time some of us still remember! Ah, the good old days!

Might wanna check your math.

A $37.50 gun that went up 100% would have doubled in price - $75.00.

1000% would be $375.00, and I think they cost more than that, now.

Read the order form in that Klein's ad?

You sign saying you're not a criminal or an alien, and give your age (they won't sell to under 21), and include your pistol permit, "if your state, county or city requires one".

In 1950 Xerox machines were not around. You could not just "burn a copy" and send it.

I wonder how you were supposed to do that? Send the actual permit, and HOPE they send it back with the gun?
