It's a monster! Shooting 2-3/4" shells is actually a little painful. After about 10 rounds, it was time for me to stop.
Recoil is straight back into the hand due to the grip design. The grip is designed to prevent the gun rolling up during recoil- allowing the second barrel to be fired accurately and quickly.
Pattern at 15-20 feet is about 8" with #1 buck, and quite a bit wider with #7-1/2 shot.
It's loud, too!
Ms. Debbie, being the trooper she is, also had a go with it.
I have no desire to shoot 3" magnums in it.

I like it!!! You might consider using the padded gloves used by weight lifters if you ever decide to use the magnum shells. I now have an itch to get one, which means I need to buy another safe since I do not have any more room, which means now I might have to buy a bigger house to accommodate the new safe.

Man the price of the pistol escalated rather quickly.

I remember back when I was high school, a friend of my father came over with a double barrel shotgun that he had illegally sawed off and made a pistol grip. As we were all watching, he held it out like a pistol and let go both barrels at the same time. The thing came out of his hand straight back and hit him right between the eyes and he went down like a sack of potatoes and was out for four or five minutes while we were laughing at him. Since that day I have had no desire to shoot both barrels in any shotgun, much less a sawed off one.

Not my cup of tea, I've shot 12 gauge shotguns that have been chopped. But I would think that the recoil would not be felt in a life or death situation!
