Hello, all. New poster, hoping to learn what I can about the meaning of life.
I have just acquired a H&R Model 04 32 caliber revolver. It looks like it has had a hard life and I am trying to get some insight. Is it worth trying to fix it up (such as re-plating or bluing, finding a new set of grips) or would I be better off without it?
I have some photos which pretty well tell its story. it needs some good cleaning, of course, 'though the action is quite smooth. It has been shut up in a cabinet for at least 40 years, and I don't know what its prior life was like. There is no serial number that I can find. It looks like the trigger guard is blued, whereas the rest of the gun is nickel plated. Any observations or suggestions for me? Can this be worth anything?

This is my first post, so probably I have left out important information. I trust that I will be set straight as necessary. Thanks!
