Looking to get an electronic scale that is able to run off ac power. Considering the Dillon D-Terminator or the RCBS Rangemaster 2000. What say you fellow reloaders?
Just an FYI. you don't have to buy a digital scale from one of the reloading vendors. The below link has numerous goods digital scales, some of them with a lifetime warranty instead of a 1 year warranty from the reloading vendors.
My RCBS Partner Electronic scale went kaput last year so picked up one of the $20.00 electronic scales that reads in grams. My cell phone has a conversion app that I convert grams to grains.
I am considering that Rangemaster 2000 though because I like the dust cover for it to use at the outdoor gun ranges. It only takes the slightest of a breeze to make the weight reading to fluctuate. Midway sells it for $119.99.
I have both the RCBS 750 and the Dillon. Dillon has the cover and static ring, so slight advantage to the Dillon. The 750 has better user controls though in my opinion. I haven't used the 2000 model; but RCBS has always had good quality and customer service.
Check out the RCBS Chargemaster. You can use it as a scale as well.
