A few weeks ago I was talking with goofy about doing some work on an old Llama .380 "1911" that I own. I asked him to fix the safety and to cerekote it to a dark blue color. During the conversation, he convinced me that it would look better if it was blued back to the original finish and I agreed.

I got it back today and what a world of difference in the before and after. I only have one picture of it before I sent it to him but you can see the condition it was in.

This first picture is the before, not terrible looking, notice the grips too:

These are the after pictures, one of each side, again notice the grips:

The shiny spots are the oil that I haven't wiped off yet.

He re-checkered the grips for me too. What absolutely great work he does. The only thing now, it is so pretty that I am afraid to stick it back in the door pocket of my truck.

Again, thank you Mike!

From the little bit of involvement I've had with him, he knows his stuff. I'd trust him explicitly. Way to go!

Thanks George for the post and kind words.
It took a while but when it was done she looked great.
Thanks for the great feedback from all the rest of you.
I got to shoot her when I got done and she shoots as good as she looks.
The word has spread about my work because I have 20 guns in the shop for restores and get calls all the time.
From all over the US.....
So Cool !!!!!!
Doing what I love to do.
Mike
