offered to sell me one of his rifles, a Remington sendero in 300 saum. It has a nice stock, muzzle brake and not too many rounds through. The barrel was stress relieved. I love rifles, hunting, and long range shooting. He's asking 1000 bucks. I could afford it but interested in anyone's thoughts on this model, caliber and price
That a good cartridge, there's a good article about it on 6mmbr.com. It takes a little looking to find it but it's a good read. The guy that wrote it uses this cartridge for 1000 yard competition, and says it is superior to the .300 WSM, and that high quality brass is available for this cartridge. A $1000.00 bucks seems a bit steep, it has a decent quality scope on it for this price, right?
