My Son was cleaning out an old house and found this gun. We have found some info on it but do not know much about old guns. I am posting pics with all relevant found info. Barrel s 3.25 inches Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Esther, evidently your pictures are a little too large since all I can see is a bunch of red X's. Please see if you can reduce the size of your pictures and attach them again.
It's a Belgian Revolver, proof mark is ELG in an oval. JB under crown is Jules Bury, Liege, Belgium. R stands for handgun past 1894. X under star is the inspector code.
