I'm so angry all I can see is red. What a travesty. Why is D.C. exempt from the constitution anyway? I thought Heller fixed all this.
It would be a nice gesture if the manufacturers of this soldiers guns replaced them free of charge. I think they could afford it and believe their generosity would be appreciated by the shooting community at large and be rewarded by increased sales. |

Apparently the minions infesting our nation's capitol don't read the Congressional Record ! Or do they deem themselves superior to the "law of the land" ? IMNSHO, this Marine was "in transit", hence not subject to D.C. ordinances provided he had met/exceeded federal laws for firearms transport !
(And isn't Washington, D.C., "federal reservation" governed by Congress ? ) IAC, seems like a very shabby way to treat a combat veteran ! >MW |
